facts on both sides

i vote republican!.... do you know how scary that is to say in public? if one was to stand up in any busy restaurant and say those words, they would quickly be chopped up, cooked, then served as the newest special. the menu would read "conservative dick head, baked, fried, or blown to hell with a hand grenade".

i love this country. and i love the people in it. everyone has the right to stand for what they believe in. i vote republican. but i also support the people that choose to vote democrat. we share this country, and we are all free people. i don't care what side of the fence you are on. only that you stand there having researched the facts on both sides.

we all need to research the facts unbiasedly. if you read a conservative news paper, read a liberal one as well. go to the library. read the constitution, then go back and try to understand it. DO NOT!!! be influenced by other parties. DO NOT!!!! let your teachers, partners, or friends tell you how to vote! take the time to evaluate each and every issue. find out how you can relate to them personally.

"We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people".

-John F. Kennedy

Sites I visit daily.

And on Youtube you can watch the entire debate thus far. This is in response to the comment you left on my latest post. I am all for trading ideas on politics, even banter and bashing, but make sure you do your research before you insult my intelligence.

Nice quote on Kennedy..he is from a time when being a democrat ment something..and people were proud to be an American and wave the American flag..And didn't hesitate to recite the pledge of aligence..with the word 'God' included....What happened????

I think the pledge of allegiance is one of those things that seemed to miss the mark on separation of church and state and I do support that it should be amended.

Being a democrat still means something, thanks.

Also, the Catholic Church has been meeting lately to discuss the relevancy of the Bible and if it really stands as absolute truth today, or if it can be taken as such.
